Hidden Talents-The Braid Master

Well, I guess my dear husband has been hiding a talent from me for quite some time! I also suppose his talent can be credited due to the fact that he had 4 little girls with whom to practice on at times throughout the last 28 years. Mesa came and wanted her hair braided which I was happy to do but told her it would have to wait until i was feeling a little less tired so she turned to Rick who immediately agreed to the task. I wasn't expecting much however was pleasantly suprised when it turned out to look quite good. See for yourself! Compliments welcome! Why is she such a poser? Not my idea for her to pose like this!

Lets see...what else has been happening? Well, only one other thing of worthy note as far as I can remember. Yesterday Blaze and Mesa were in a cross country race and Mesa came in 4th in the girls and Blaze came in 8th. They both love running. Blaze wanted to wear these shorts to school which he had worn for the last 5 days in a row pretty much and when I told him to change he said, "but these shorts make me run fast!" No further arguments from me. Well Blaze, those aren't your school shoes so go change into your school shoes please, "but I can run faster in these shoes!" again, no further arguments from me. This morning however it was "Blaze, those aren't your school shoes. Go change please" No further arguments from him.
I swear I had thought of a couple things earlier that were blog worthy but I've forgotten what they were! Doh! I hate it when that happens! I'll definetly check back in if that changes.
